About the Studio

Precision, Craft, and Collaboration

ABout

Alexandria Elias

Alexandria Illustration Studio grew out of a deep fascination with the natural world and the long tradition of scientific illustration — the idea that a drawing could be both a precise record and a beautiful object.

Over six years, we've built a practice that spans scientific illustration for publishers and museums, editorial work for agencies, and brand identities for studios who want something genuinely handcrafted.

Every project starts with a conversation. We take time to understand the subject, the audience, and the story that needs to be told — then we get to work.

Process

How We Work

01

Discovery

We start with a conversation — understanding your project, your audience, and what success looks like.

02

Research

For scientific and editorial work, we research the subject thoroughly before a single line is drawn.

03

Sketches

Initial sketches and concepts are shared early, so we can align on direction before committing to finals.

04

Refinement

We refine together — your feedback shapes the work until it's exactly right.

05

Delivery

Final files delivered in all formats you need, with clear documentation and ongoing support.
